Terms and Conditions for Off-Grid Solar Installation with Battery Storage
1. Scope of Work
Off Grid Solar Power Ltd agrees to supply and install an off-grid solar power system, including photovoltaic panels, battery storage, charge controllers, and inverters at the property located at the Client's Address. The system will be designed to meet estimated energy requirements based on information provided by the client.
2. System Design and Components
All equipment supplied will be new, unused, and meet industry standards. The contractor reserves the right to substitute components with similar or higher specifications if needed due to supply chain or engineering requirements.
3. Payment Terms
A deposit of 25% is due upon contract signing where quotes are more than £10,000. The remaining balance will be payable in full on completion and commissioning of the system. System sizes under 10kW do not require a deposit
4. Installation
Timeline Installation is estimated to begin on an agreed Start Date and be completed a few days subject to weather conditions and material availability.
5. Warranties
Workmanship: 2 years from date of installation.- Solar Panels: Manufacturer warranty (typically 25 years).- Batteries: Manufacturer warranty (typically 5-10 years depending on battery type).- Inverter & Controller: Manufacturer warranty (typically 5 years).
6. Maintenance
Terms and Conditions for Off-Grid Solar Installation with Battery Storage Routine maintenance is not included unless stated otherwise. Annual inspection and servicing plans are available at additional cost.
7. Client Responsibilities Client shall ensure clear access to the installation site and is responsible for obtaining any required building permits unless specified in the agreement. The client is responsible for proper use of the system and for protecting it from misuse or tampering.
8. Limitations of Liability
Contractor is not liable for damages caused by force majeure events (e.g., storms, floods), misuse, improper modifications, or third-party interference. Energy output estimates are not guaranteed due to variability in weather and site conditions.
9. Ownership and Risk
Ownership of all components passes to the client upon full payment. Risk transfers upon delivery of materials to the site.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement for material breach with 14 days' written notice. In such cases, the client is responsible for payment for all completed work and delivered equipment.
11. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of our Jurisdiction.
