Charge Controllers

 

Victron offers high-performance charge controllers designed to efficiently manage power between your solar panels and battery bank. Their most popular line is the BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) controllers.

Victron MPPT Controllers tracks the optimal power point of your solar array in real time. They are up to 30% more efficient than traditional PWM controllers and they performs well in low-light or cloudy conditions

 

SmartSolar (Bluetooth Enabled)

· Built-in Bluetooth for wireless monitoring via the VictronConnect app  · View real-time data, history, and adjust settings easily on your phone or tablet

Inverters

Victron makes several types of inverters and inverter/chargers. The most commonly used are:

Victron Phoenix Inverters

Type: Pure sine wave inverter

Basic off-grid systems where AC charging isn't needed.  Converts DC (12V/24V/48V) to clean AC power.  Highly efficient and stable for sensitive electronics.  Remote on/off support.  Optional VE.Direct communication for monitoring.  Sizes range from 250 VA to 5000 VA.  Best for: Small off-grid cabins, campers, boats

 

Victron MultiPlus Inverter/Chargers

Inverter + AC charger + automatic transfer switch.  Off-grid or backup systems with generator/grid input.  Inverts DC to AC, and charges batteries from generator/grid when needed.  Seamless switching between power sources (AC input, batteries, generator)  Power Assist feature: boosts limited generator/grid input with battery power.  Remote monitoring and programming via Victron GX systems or VictronConnect

Available in various power capacities (800 VA to 5 kVA+)  Best for: Off-grid homes, tiny houses, solar backup systems

Victron Quattro Inverter/Chargers

Advanced inverter/charger with dual AC inputs (e.g., grid + generator).  Complex off-grid and hybrid setups.  Everything the MultiPlus does, plus:.  Two AC inputs with auto-switching (e.g., grid + generator).  Ideal for larger installations and full off-grid homes.  Load prioritization, generator auto-start support.  Available up to 15 kVA.  Best for : Large off-grid homes, commercial setups, microgrids

Victron AGM & Gel Deep Cycle Batteries 

Best for: Cost-effective and maintenance-free systems

AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) :  Low internal resistance – ideal for high load use.  Sealed and maintenance-free.  500–1,000 cycles depending on usage

 

Gel Batteries:

Better deep discharge capability than AGM.  Slightly longer lifespan.  Excellent in hot environments

12V / 60Ah, 90Ah, 110Ah, 165Ah, 220Ah

2V cells (up to 2,400Ah banks)

Advantages:

Reliable and robust.  No off-gassing (safe for indoor use).  Lower up-front cost than lithium

Best for: Easy-install plug-and-play systems

Features:

Integrated BMS and safety switch.  Pre-configured, no need for external BMS or communication cables.  Ideal for smaller off-grid, backup, and mobile systems
